Abby and Jake

I have been having a lot of fun lately watching Abby interact with other kids her age. She's just getting to the point where she likes to have intelligent-sounding conversation with them. So I'm watching Abby's friend Jake today and they're both having a great time. Although I'm starting to notice Abby likes to kind of be in charge. I have to keep reminding her that Jake already has a mother and it isn't her. But it just seems like she's genuinely interested in getting Jake to have a good time. She likes to make him laugh so puts on shows for him. She'll go to the middle of the room and spin around and around until she falls. Then they both laugh and laugh. She also likes to hide in our blanket cupboard and have him find her. It's amazing what they find to keep themselves busy. And I must say, they're sharing their toys very well! I'm very impressed. Wonder how long that will last.
