My conversation with Abby the other day

Abby: Mommy, I need to go potty
Me: Okay, go ahead
Abby: Is the light on for me?
Me: You can turn it on yourself
Abby: Oh, okay! (she runs off and goes potty-I'm in the kitchen)
(Several seconds go by)
Abby: Mom! I'm all done!
Me: Okay, did you wipe?
Abby: yup!
Me: Did you wash your hands?
Abby: I did, actually!
Me: Did you pull up your panties and your pants?
Abby: Sure did!
Me: Did you flush the potty?
Abby: Actually, yes, I did!
Me: Okay! Come here and I can help you with your belt!

Abby then came prancing out of the bathroom with nothing on below her waist. I smelled her hands-not clean. So I told her to go wash her hands and she said, "Oh! I gotta wipe too!" Also, the sounds of a flushing potty soon came from the bathroom.

Sigh....
