It's happening...

I actually seriously considered canceling our babysitter we had for Saturday night because it had been snowing all day.

I'm becoming an Ohioan.

We were hoping for church to be canceled because of the weather.

I know what you mean. Albuquerquians are afraid of snow too but for good reason I think. There's a good chance you'll get in a wreck if you go out in the snow here b/c the city CAN'T handle snow. I was so spoiled in UT. The streets were clean like an hour after a storm. It's a mess here and school and church get canceled if snow is visible on the ground. Kinda funny.

Mel-that kinda makes sense in New Mexico though. How often do you even get snow? During the two winters we've experienced in Ohio (and the beginning of a third with a good snowstorm already) there have often been rather large storms during the winter. You'd think the state would know by now that snow will come. Every year. All winter. I don't understand.

Breezi-We were totally crossing our fingers for church to be canceled! Once it had been snowing for an hour, we started really paying attention to our phone, hoping for someone to be calling with that good news! I mean, I love going to church and hate when it gets canceled for any reason.
