Abby-isms

The other day we were all in the car and I was being silly. Abby was looking at me and when I stopped she said, "Mom, what's your deal?"

Abby frequently runs around the house singing, "Supersalicrashilisticexpialidoshus! Umma-limma-lumma-lie, umma-limma-lumma-lie!" She's pretty close....

Abby has been learning her letter sounds lately. I was eating pancakes with her and she said, "I just want maple syrup on mine, please." Then she was unusually quiet for a minute then said, "I said MMMMMM for maple syrup!" Then she looked at the bottle of syrup, pointed at the M and said, "That says MMMMM!!" THEN she saw the word Meijer, which is our grocery store we go to and said, "I can read that! It says grocery...store!"

We went to the grocery store today and there was a bunch of Easter stuff so I said, "Abby, Easter is coming up! The Easter Bunny is going to come visit us!" Abby replied, "Ooo, I like the Easter Bunny! What's his name? Let's call him Cottontrail."

And Molly's greatest accomplishments include smiling, gaining weight and sleeping through the night.

I love the first one. Happens to me too. And I always think it must really mean something if my two and four year old think I'm a weirdo.

You should post some pictures of them. I'm glad Molly's getting bigger and sleeping for you. But I want to see how cute she is!

Aaahahahaha! I'm surprised Abby still wants to be called Sleeping Beauty at preschool- you'd think she would have switched to Mary by now. Mmmmmmarvelous. Molly really is sleeping through the night?! Awesome! Fun little chubster.
